Growing Communities

Collaboration at its Best

I launched three San Francisco coworking/innovation spaces that each provided me with views into Silicon Valley, though through lenses of emerging technology on the one hand, and international business on the other. More importantly, I managed the members of the community and integrated them into the industry through support, services, and facilitation of partnerships. I mentored startups from idea to implementation. With each successful milestone crossed, the belief that anything is possible only grew stronger.

Companies

I have worked closely with 120 different startups, mainly focusing on VR, AR, and AI. I introduced them to new investors, organized their promotional events, actively arranged strategic partnerships, and saw to help them grow in whichever way I could. I am honored to have worked with such amazing people who have become game-changers in the industry.

Mentors and Advisors

The most valuable aspect of coworking is its potential to combine new talent with experienced professionals. To that end, I founded the Mentor Program while working at Upload VR, Inc. This program creates mutually beneficial partnerships between promising startups and established industry businesses, and has been a runaway success.

Below is a list of the mentors I would couple up with the startups at the coworking space, either by setting up lunch meet and greets, in office hours, or simply facilitating emails connections. The benefits to this worked both ways, startups would be able to pick the brains of people they respected and admired, and mentors would be able to get a sneak peak into the next wave of technology and ingenuity. Mentors would become Advisors to the startups, investors, and even colleagues.
